Former Faculty Fellow and Emeritus Professor George Lopez (political science and peace studies) told NBC this week that in talks with North Korea, South Korean President Moon Jae-in "is the tortoise and Trump the hare."
Trump "is trying to win the entire diplomatic race in a speed-blitz of incomplete promises and big declarations on security," he said. "Moon is slow and steady and paying attention to detail."
