Former Faculty Fellow George Lopez (political science and peace studies) authors an opinion piece for The Hill on the proposed "new Iran strategy" which includes a large set of maximum pressure sanctions. Lopez warns that to be successful, "sanctions must not just enrage, but actually engage the target."
