About

Thomas Mologne is working on transcribing interviews as part of a report for Catholic Relief Services on a program that enlisted young Ghanaians as Youth Ambassadors. Through transcribing the interviews and then coding the transcripts, Mologne and Professor Jaimie Bleck’s other research assistants are looking to see whether CRS’s peace building efforts in 2016 were effective at enhancing communities and reducing violence. Some specific goals of this research include the role of the CRS Youth Ambassador program in promoting messages of peace during the 2016 election cycle and the increased role of young people in politics. In addition to the Kellogg International Scholars Program, Mologne received a Summer Language Abroad grant to study French and participated in the Herrly Internship Program in Paris.
