First year students! Stop by the Kellogg Institute table at the Keough School of Global
Affairs’ Welcome Weekend event to learn about the programs we offer to help you dive into
international research on topics such as global health, education, women’s empowerment,
and more in Africa, Asia, or Latin America.

Kellogg International Scholars Program Sophomore Orientation
International Scholars meet throughout the academic year to learn from each other and share research interests as well as learn about opportunities available to them. This meeting serves as an introduction and orientation to the Program for all incoming sophomores. We will discuss expectations, requirements, and resources, and sophomores will have a chance to network with each other.

Kellogg International Scholars Program Meeting
International Scholars meet throughout the academic year to learn from each other and share research interests as well as opportunities available to them. This meeting serves as the first meeting of the academic year for all International Scholars to meet each other. We will learn about new opportunities available to Scholars this year and will take photos for the website.

Kellogg Undergraduate Student Programs Open House 
All undergraduate students! Meet our faculty, staff and students while finding out how you can get involved in the programs of the Institute, all while enjoying food and games with our community.  Ask students in our programs about funded international research opportunities and research programs including the new Kellogg Developing Researchers Program. Pick up Kellogg swag and submit your name for prizes that will be raffled off throughout the event.

International Development Studies – Welcome Back! 
Want an academic program that will give you real-world research experience in the developing world? Attend this meeting to learn how you can get involved with the International Development Studies minor. Join current students in the program and hear from seniors who recently returned from the field. All IDS students should attend and all students are welcome.

Kellogg Developing Researchers Program Information Meeting
Want to be a part of the newest undergraduate program at the Kellogg Institute? Attend this meeting to learn more about our newest research program and how to apply. Selected students will gain research skills by participating in a variety of workshops, and will be placed in a research assistant pool to work on short term research projects with Kellogg Faculty Fellows.

Information Meeting – Undergraduate Internships, Fellowships, and Grants
Interested in international research next summer? First years, sophomores and juniors should attend this meeting to learn more about Kellogg’s international fellowships and grants that offer opportunities to conduct research or work with non-profit organizations on such topics as global health and sustainability. Previous recipients will talk about their summer experiences and offer advice about how to apply.

International Development Studies Meeting
The focus of the meeting will be the field research projects, and several faculty members as well as seniors will be at the meeting to talk about your ideas, share advice and answer questions.  This is a networking event so you will have the opportunity to move around the room and meet with faculty and students you think could be helpful to you for your project. All IDS students should attend. Dinner will be provided.
