Denise Wright serves as senior counselor in the Office of the President. In this role, Denise provides support to the President, in partnership with the Vice President and Chief of Staff and Special Assistant, in preparing for various meetings and events for and with a wide variety of internal and external constituent groups. Denise serves as leader and project manager for critical presidential initiatives and plays a key role in managing the Office of the President's correspondence.

Prior to joining the Office of the President, Denise served as assistant director of the Kellogg Institute for International Studies, where she managed graduate student initiatives and the Institute’s signature Visiting Fellows program. She was a member of the Institute’s senior leadership team and worked at Kellogg for over 16 years.

Originally from New Orleans, Denise holds a Master's of Nonprofit Administration from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. in mass communications from Loyola University New Orleans.
