The Kellogg Institute for International Studies, part of the University of Notre Dame’s new Keough School of Global Affairs, is an interdisciplinary community of scholars that promotes research, provides educational opportunities, and builds linkages related to democracy and human development.

Faculty Fellow Jeff Bergstrand (finance) has been quoted in a Washington Post article titled, “The Finance 202: Yellen Will Face Host of Political Problems as Biden's Treasury Secretary.” The article discusses what Janet Yellen faces as the new treasury secretary.
Bergstrand comments, “When you’re head of the Fed, you’re in charge of monetary policy. At Treasury, you have to work with Congress – they control both the spending and the taxes.”
