Carlos Puig recently wrote about the latest book by Faculty Fellow Guillermo Trejo (political science) and former Visiting Fellow Sandra Ley (Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas, CIDE) titled, Votes, Drugs, and Violence: The Political Logic of Criminal Wars in Mexico (Cambridge University Press, 2020).

The article “Partidos y violencia rumbo a 2021” appeared in Milenio  and highlights the book’s findings on the relationship between politics and Mexican crime as well as the political logic of Mexican criminal wars.
