Faculty Fellow Jeff Bergstrand (finance and economics) is quoted in an article about the detrimental effects of trade tensions between the US and China on the US scrap metal industry (CGTN).  The article focuses on one Michigan-based waste recycling company.  Bergstrand comments, "It is going to price us out of the market. And that is going to turn tend to hurt the Michigan economy in terms of numbers of jobs."
