Director of the Kellogg Institute Paolo Carozza was quoted in a Crux article about the legacy of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.  The article explores the success of the document, highlighting its universality, objectivity, and unity.  With regard to the current implications of the document, Carozza says, "There’s a paradox that the institutionalization of human rights has been one of the singular achievements of the 70 years of human rights system, and also one of its greatest challenges and problems that it faces today."
