Kellogg Distinguished Research Affiliate Rev. David Hollenbach addresses contemporary challenges and opportunities for the US Catholic Church to support migrant integration in his recent article "Welcoming Refugees and Migrants: Catholic Narratives and the Challenge of Inclusion." Published in the July issue of the Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, Hollenbach's article discusses the Roman Catholic community's historic role in welcoming immigrants – through its extensive network of schools, parishes, social services, and health care facilities – and sketches opportunities for research and practice in light of contemporary data.

As a distinguished research affiliate, Hollenbach collaborates with Kellogg faculty fellows through the Institute's policy and practice research lab on Integral Human Development.
