Faculty Fellow Jeff Bergstrand (finance) was quoted in a Million Acres article titled, “Suez Canal Blockage: Lessons for U.S. Commercial Real Estate.” The article details the impact of the six-day blockage of the Suez Canal on the global supply chain and future implications for international commerce.
Bergstrand comments, "Since most of the imports blocked over the last week are heading to Europe, U.S. consumers will likely see little effect on prices of U.S. imports."
