Faculty Fellow Jeff Bergstrand (finance) was quoted in the USA Today article titled, “Janet Yellen Becomes the First Female Treasury Chief; May Be a Calming Influence in a Divided Washington.” The article discusses how Janet Yellen, the first woman to head the U.S. Treasury Department, is working to provide recovery and relief to Americans impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bergstrand commented that “she’s a moderate and a centrist,” which would make her a good fit for the role.
