Michael Lee is a senior biology major and international development studies minor living in Keenan Hall. For his capstone project, Lee worked with two organizations in Jinja, Uganda to investigate the effectiveness and needs regarding community menstrual health programs. As an aspiring doctor, Lee's interest in development stems from his desire to widen his understanding of health and approach his practice with a global, human-centered lens.

During the 2021 winter session, Lee participated in a project that addressed menstrual health needs in Jinja, Uganda. Aside from the winter program, he has participated in an Urban Plunge through the Center for Social Concerns, and various labs through the biology department.
