This workshop centers on Kellogg faculty fellow Emilia Justyna Powell's recently published book, The Peaceful Resolution of Territorial and Maritime Disputes (Oxford
University Press, 2023, co-authored with Krista Wiegand) at the Notre Dame London Global Gateway. The book’s key focus is on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the Permanent Court of Arbitration’s (PCA) role in settling international disputes. The purpose of the workshop is to bring together people who can speak to countries’ respect for rule of law on both domestic and the global levels.
