Vítor Eduardo Veras de Sandes-Freitas (PhD, University of Campinas, Political Science) researches about elections, parties and coalitions in Brazil. He studied pre-electoral and governamental coalitions in Brazilian states and currently studies impeachment processes in Latin America countries, focusing on the role of political parties in these processes. He also has used mix methods in his researchs, comparing and studying cases deeply. Sandes Freitas is a Professor of Political Science at the Federal University of Piaui, in Brazil.
