Sponsored by the Democratization Theory Research Cluster, this workshop is designed to help researchers to gain access to the Varieties of Democracy project (V-Dem) data, identify how to use the data for their research, and learn how to make the most of it.

Research Cluster Co-PI and V-Dem Co-PI Michael Coppedge along with Kellogg Dissertation Year Fellow Ben Denison will offer the workshop.

To register, please contact Beth Simpson Hlabse.

V-Dem is a collaborative international effort to provide the global community with the world’s most comprehensive, accurate, and detailed democracy ratings. The project has institutional homes at the Kellogg Institute for International Studies, University of Notre Dame, and at the V-Dem Institute in the Department of Political Science, University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Workshop participants should plan to bring their laptop computers and power cords.
