I have worked with Professor Desch for the past two years on the effect of academics on policymakers, but I am currently looking to expand my horizons into researching Arab literature with Professor Guo.
My interest in Arab literature was sparked by a Arab poetry class I took while abroad in Amman, Jordan, but I have always been interested by the international security work that Professor Desch focuses on. I am also involved in the Jubilee Initiative for Financial Inclusion, a nonprofit community financial services provider founded and run by Notre Dame students in order to combat predatory lending practices in our South Bend community.
