Congratulations to Faculty Fellow Katie Jarvis (history) for winning the 2018 James L. Clifford Prize for her article "The Cost of Female Citizenship: How Price Controls Gendered Democracy in Revolutionary France." This prize is awarded annually by the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies to an author of an article on an outstanding study of some aspect of eighteenth-century culture.
