Faculty Fellow Carlos A. Jáuregui (romance languages and literatures) has been elected to a five-year term on the Executive Committee of the forum LLC Colonial Latin American of the Modern Language Association of America. The term will begin on January 7, 2019 and run through the close of the January, 2024 convention. As the Executive Director of the MLA, Paula M. Krebs, indicated, this election "reflects the confidence of colleagues" in Jáuregui's field.
