Mary (Regan) Fitzgerald is currently working with Professor Andrew Gould. She reviews and analyzes articles in politics and religion that will contribute to Professor Gould’s book. The book is an intellectual history of how comparative political scientists have studied religion and politics.
Fitzgerald was a recipient of the Nanovic Institute of European Studies summer research grant. She spent time in June of 2018 in London, England and Strasbourg, France conducting research on the situation of their Roma populations. Her research aims to develop a focused, regional understanding of the Roma experiences and treatment in these two different societies. She will continue in the spring of 2020 as a Kennedy Scholar in London.
