Former Faculty Fellow George Lopez (political science and peace studies) commented on the administration’s new national security strategy (NSS) in an article in the Guardian.
According to Lopez, the NSS “sounds a lot like the 1980s revisited.”
“In casting a world of competition in which everything is focused on nation states, it doesn’t account for biological pandemics or climate change,” he said.
