Former Kellogg Institute PhD Fellow and Dissertation Year Fellow Stefanie Israel de Souza '19 (Phd, sociology) is now assistant professor of sociology and criminology & justice studies at Humboldt State University, where her areas of research interest include urban marginality, critical criminology, qualitative methods, cultural sociology, and social change.
