Faculty Fellow Guillermo Trejo (political science) and former Visiting Fellow Sandra Ley (Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas, CIDE) have been quoted on their recent research and book Votes, Drugs, and Violence: The Political Logic of Criminal Wars in Mexico in an opinion piece in Spanish from El Financiero titled, “Disputas políticas y guerras criminales en México.” The article reviews and summarizes the book, which provides political theory on organized crime in Mexico.
