Faculty Fellow Daniel Philpott (political science and peace studies) was quoted in a Crux article about Pope Francis' upcoming trip to the United Arab Emirates.  Philpott called this unprecedented trip to the Muslim majority country "historic" and a “bold and courageous move."  He also said “UAE is a headquarters for interreligious dialogue, but the real question to ask is whether this will be cheap dialogue or meaningful, authentic dialogue.”
