Faculty Fellow Atalia Omer (peace studies) was quoted a Forbes article titled, “The Peace Pact With Israel, Bahrain and The UAE Is Good Business – The Carbon Cause Included.” The article explains the possible outcomes of the Abraham Accords, which was signed on September 15, such as treaties among Israel and other Islamic countries.

Although the accords may benefit some countries, Omer claims that "the main problem behind this 'peace deal' is it ignores the Palestinian struggles and demands [and] the impetus is also economic and intends to expand arms trade.”
