Faculty Fellow Michael Desch (political science) reflected on his time spent working with former President George H.W. Bush in a new WSBT article.  Desch shares that while working at the George H.W. Bush school of Public Service at the University of Texas A&M, he was able to learn who Bush was as both a leader and a friend.  He says, "How important a role model both as an effective politician, but also as a statesman, was becoming more and more evident with each passing day."
