For her article “Materiales de viaje: La función de los objetos en las fotografías, ensayos y diario personal de Alice Dixon Le Plongeon en Yucatán,” published in Latin American Research Review (LARR) volume 56, Faculty Fellow Vanesa Miseres has won the 2022 LARR-University of Florida Article Award.
The LARR-University of Florida Article Award is presented at each Latin American Studies Association (LASA) International Congress to the best research article published by LARR during the previous calendar year.
On Wednesday, May 4, the President of LASA will announce the award at the Association’s 40th International Congress Welcome Ceremony. LASA has also organized a panel session where Miseres will present her article on May 7.
