Faculty fellow Kyle Jaros sheds light on the impacts that visits from U.S. state governors to Taiwan have on the U.S., China, and Taiwan in a News Italy 24 article.
When discussing how Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s visit to Taiwan can affect her political career, Jaros declares, “But she has positioned herself as somebody who’s willing to do business with countries that are willing to have a constructive economic relationship with Michigan.”
