Keough School associate professor and Kellogg faculty fellow Kyle Jaros recently joined a podcast to discuss the evolution of US-China subnational diplomacy.

Alongside host Sara Newland, Jaros examines the history and current landscape of US-China relations at the subnational level and looks specifically at the past five years in which this relationship has become extremely politicized.

Jaros explains that recent hesitancy from state and local leaders in their visiting China and welcoming of Chinese officials and investments has led to loosening of subnational ties.
