Brian Ó Conchubhair, Director of the Center for the Study of Languages & Cultures at the University of Notre Dame agreed to translate the text of "My American Journey" into English.
He is mentioned in RTEs article of the new bilingual edition of Douglas Hyde's account of his 1905/06 Journey to the United States published by UCD Press.
