Congratulations to Visiting Fellow Malu A. C. Gatto for her promotion to an Associate Professor of Latin American Politics at the University College London (UCL). Her work at UCL focuses on political behavior, representation, policy-making, and gender in Latin America, specifically Brazil.
While at Kellogg, Gatto is working on a project that examines how anti-system sentiments shape the electoral prospects of candidates from marginalized groups such as women and Afro-Brazilians.
