Faculty Fellow Joshua Eisenman (global affairs), along with several other authors, contributed to an article on USA Today about recent racism and xenophobia against the Asian community titled: "Foreign Policy Experts Call for End to Hate Crimes Against Asian American Community: Readers." They take a stand against this unfair treatment and call U.S leaders to show support for Asian diaspora and AAPI communities. They are asking to show guidance by dealing with the virus in ways that reduce discrimination and avoid terms such as "Chinese virus" which places a stigma on people of Asian descent.
