Kellogg Faculty Fellow Tamara Kay (sociology and global affairs) presented findings from her recently published book, Trade Battles: Activism and the Politicization of International Trade Policy (Oxford) at the Economic Policy Institute in Washington DC. Kay's presentation was followed by a panel discussion about how civil society groups have aligned to influence international trade in recent years, and the role of trade in the U.S. midterm elections.
