Ahead of the virtual summit between US President Joe Biden and China’s leader Xi Jinping, CBS News interviewed Kellogg Faculty Fellow Joshua Eisenman about US-China relations and the topics expected to be on the agenda. Eisenman spoke at length about China-Taiwan relations, as well as about issues such as climate change and the economy.
"...The US strategy on Taiwan is more declarative than its ever been, but it's still essentially bounded by these communiqués we have with China and the law of the land, which is the Taiwan Relations Act," he says.
