Faculty Fellows Diane Desierto (human rights law and global affairs) and Aníbal Pérez-Liñán (political science and global affairs), and Kellogg PhD Fellow (law) Khawla Wakkaf, are part of a collaborative team that authored an article on the European Journal of International Law's  EJIL:Talk!, a leading international law blog. The article reflects the work of the Notre Dame Reparations Design and Compliance Lab, a Policy and Practice Lab sponsored by the Kellogg Institute for International Studies and the Klau Center for Civil and Human Rights

Titled “The ‘New’ World Bank Accountability Mechanism: Observations from the ND Reparations Design and Compliance Lab,” the article examines various features of the World Bank’s new Accountability Mechanism, particularly from the lens of local communities in regard to environmental or social concerns regarding Bank-financed development projects.
