Faculty Fellow Joshua Eisenman and co-author Devin T. Stewart analyze dissent in China and Beijing's Belt and Road Initiative in Foreign Policy. In China, the policymakers benefit from the democratic world’s economic and political openness, while making sure it does not occur in China itself.
