Micaela Alvarado ’24 is a rising sophomore double majoring in film, television, and theater and sociology. Her international interests involve learning about cultures abroad in comparison to that of her own and in the United States. She is doing a virtual internship with the Morocco World News organization, which strives to provide Moroccan news to the world free of bias and a political agenda. The organization works to objectively and accurately report the truth through the content they produce in hopes to spread awareness on local and international issues. Alvarado’s role is to edit videos, write articles in English, research the latest news for reporting, and develop a social media strategy that enhances its visibility and strengthens the agency’s leadership in Morocco.
