Kellogg Faculty Fellow Marinho Bertanha is associate professor of economics at the University of Notre Dame. He is an econometrician whose research agenda focuses on causal inference, policy evaluation, resampling methods, and hypothesis testing.
His research has appeared in journals such as Journal of Econometrics, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of the American Statistical Association, and Journal of Econometric Methods, among others. He has been a peer reviewer for many journals in both English and Portuguese.
Previously, Bertanha was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Louvain in Belgium and a visiting professor at the University of Chicago. He holds a PhD in economics from Stanford University, where he received multiple awards and fellowships.
