About

Juliana Dantas dos Santos de Souza is a senior at Notre Dame double majoring in Political Science and Economics, with a minor in French and Francophone studies. She is currently part of the pilot launch of the Undergraduate Research Initiative at Kellogg. Dantas would like to understand how non-state actors work to influence the international system and economy. She is also interested in the intersection between the public and private sectors and how public-private partnerships can accelerate development. Dantas, an international student from Brazil, is especially concerned about how this process can benefit developing countries. In the summer of her freshman year, she received a grant from Kellogg to intern with an NGO in Morocco that focused on reinforcing the presence of women in all levels and domains of Moroccan society.
