2012-2013 Cosponsorship of conference, Pacem in Terris: After 50 Years, set for April 4-5, 2013, in Chicago, IL. Marking the 50th Anniversary of Pope John XIII’s important encyclical Pacem in terris, the conference’s goal is to evaluate the encyclical’s perspective in light of developments in the international geo-political situation over the last 50 years that have affected the way states and other global actors seek to achieve a just and peaceful political and economic order.
