Xinyi Cao is an undergraduate student at the University of Notre Dame pursuing a double major in economics and applied and computational mathematics and statistics (ACMS) with a minor in asian studies. Her research interests lie at the intersection of education, economics, and technology, with a focus on promoting self-development to combat social inequality. Xinyi's work spans from analyzing the impact of poverty in rural China to conducting tech-based research that supports small businesses.
