William Hannon is a member of the University of Notre Dame Class of 2027 double majoring in International Economics and German, with a concentration in Financial Economics and Econometrics and a minor in the Glynn Family Honors Program. He is excited to serve on the leadership team of the Kellogg Developing Researchers Program this year. Beyond the classroom, Will is a EURO Fellow through the Nanovic Institute for European Studies, the Finance Officer for the Notre Dame Economics Club, and has served as Business Manager of the Notre Dame Folk Choir.
Will’s academic and research interests center on global finance, macroeconomics, and econometrics, as well as the intersections between finance and public health, particularly how economic structures influence access, affordability, and equity in healthcare. He is especially drawn to questions about financial markets, international development, and the economic management of chronic health conditions.
