Wei Qian is a Ph.D student in Economics at the University of Notre Dame. She obtained a B.A. in Quantitative Finance from National University of Singapore (NUS). Her main research focuses on individuals’ expectations and house prices. She has also done work on geopolitical risks and firms’ market power using data from North and South Korea, China, and India. She has presented her work in the Annual Conference on Computational Economics, and in the CESifo Workshop on Subjective Expectations and Probabilities.
