Vincent (Vinnie) Badali is a junior from Crown Point, Indiana, majoring in economics and philosophy. Badali works with Dr. Eva Dziadula, a professor in the economics department, on her research regarding immigration and health economics. This past year, Badali assisted Dr. Eva Dziadula on her work regarding the effects of NACARA, an immigration policy enacted in the late 1990s, on the marriage market. Badali also assisted with work regarding the LLF fertility policy in China and how that affected intergenerational relationships, particularly the relationship between those affected by the policy and their parents. Currently, Badali is assisting in researching the effects of cross border marriages on trade.
