Victor Araújo is a Senior Researcher in the Department of Political Science at the University of Zurich. His research interests lie in the interplay between the political economy of development and political behavior, with a regional focus on Latin America. Victor’s ongoing projects draw on (quasi) experimental data and mixed methods designs to identify the impact of pro-poor policies on political behavior and attitudes toward democracy. His work has been published in the British Journal of Political Science, Comparative Political Studies, Research & Politics, Latin American Research Review, and Brazilian Political Science Review, among others.
