About

Thomas Dobbs is a junior at Notre Dame majoring in Economics and Pre-Health Studies. He has a broad range of research interests, including global health, healthcare policy, and clinical research. During the summer of 2022, Thomas worked as a research assistant at the Paley Orthopedic and Spine institute, where he examined long-term outcomes of a minimally invasive approach to clubfoot treatment. He is particularly interested in exploring how public policies can influence clinical results and healthcare outcomes. On campus, he is involved in the Student Policy Network and The Observer, where he furthers his interests in writing and policy research. In his free time, he volunteers as a mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and enjoys relaxing walks around Saint Mary’s Lake.
