Student Global Health Conference: Culture in Care
The Student Global Health Conference at the University of Notre Dame brings together committed leaders, educators, and students from diverse fields of study to assess the global health landscape and discuss their roles within it. This year’s theme, "Culture in Care," reflects on the following questions: how do our own identities affect how we treat others within our medical frameworks? Further, how can we “treat” social problems within both clinical and political contexts? Attendees also will have the opportunity to learn about University organizations and resources for becoming involved in this ever-changing field by contributing to the intersection of research, social entrepreneurship, and international development.
This conference is a collaboration of student global health organizations, with cosponsorship by the Kellogg Institute for International Studies, the Eck Institute for Global Health, and the Center for Social Concerns.
