About

Sophia Shroyer is a Sophomore at the University of Notre Dame studying Finance and Global Affairs. Shroyer is particularly interested in understanding the intersection of financial positioning and international development, specifically as it relates to foreign aid and policy making. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, running, and baking. In the Summer of 2023, she traveled to Livingstone, Zambia with the Kellogg Institute to work with the African Impact organization on their Girl Impact project teaching high school students concepts of self esteem, mental health, and menstrual health. She also is an advising fellow for the Matriculate club, mentoring three high school students on the college process and served as a research assistant in the Department of Sociology here at Notre Dame in 2022. She is excited to learn new skills, while refining her current understanding of literature analysis and the language Python.
