About

Scarlett Fisher is a first-year at the University of Notre Dame, majoring in Global Affairs and intending to double major in Arabic. She is interested in international law, especially regarding human rights, humanitarian crises, government, and foreign policy. She has a particular focus on developing nations and the Middle East. 

Scarlett is a student editor for The Global Ambassador, a student-run, Keough School-supported digital magazine for undergraduate research and experiences in foreign affairs. This has developed her editorial and writing skills in addition to cultivating her research interest. In January and June 2023, Scarlett interned for the Ohio Justice and Policy Center and the Cincinnati Citizen Complaint Authority. Scarlett looks forward to improving her quantitative research skills and exploring more opportunities within international relations.
