Priscila Villela is a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, a research member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC), and vice-leader of the Center for Transnational Security Studies (NETS). Her field of research covers violence, criminality, and policing from a transnational perspective, addressing issues related to security governance, police cooperation, drug policy, and urban violence.
